Volunteer community coordinators are critical to the ending of the child welfare crisis in every local community. These coordinators bring collaboration and connectivity to the network of care that is being developed through 111Project’s CarePortal. Community Coordinator Next Steps:
- Access Training (We recommend you watch the above Coordinator training but also Church Training
- Once trained and approved, your regional manager will work with you to assign churches in the system based on your designated zip codes. Ultimately this triggers emails that you will begin being copied on helping you stay informed.
- Facilitate Active Community – Invite and work to get your church point people/agency partners together monthly or every two months at a coffee shop, church, OKDHS office, etc. This could be in partnership with an existing community meeting.
