A gathering of churches, organizations, and community partners to share ideas, share resources, and share in the work of seeing that every child has a family.
Woodward First Assembly of God volunteered to do the next gathering for Woodward County at their church. Lunch will be provided. We are thankful for all of the hard work and dedication Raquel Razien, our 111Project Community Coordinator, has put into developing Woodward County and creating a solid network for our churches to meet the needs of foster/adoptive/biological families in Woodward County. Woodward is one of Oklahoma's most successful CarePortal counties in meeting emergency requests for children and families! I am so thankful for the team's networking to make this happen. We have nine churches connected through CarePortal, which means we have nine dedicated point people at each church checking e-mails and responding to requests. We are so thankful for each of you, and the childcare advocate workers in Woodward County are grateful for your hard work and dedication to organizing your churches to meet the needs of this community! As we finish another year, let us celebrate these numbers. Four hundred twenty-one children have been served in Woodward County, with an economic impact of $146,394.00.
