We are honoured to have several churches in Custer County as a part of the church network expanding across Oklahoma. We need at least six churches in Custer County that are committed to this church network to launch our ministry platform in the county officially. No program or plan perfectly fits every community. Still, suppose the people of that community are committed to seeing families waiting on children instead of children waiting on families. In that case, we know that we can do something only God can do in His local church! We are grateful for Kalie Kerth, your Custer County Community Coordinator and the vision that she has to work with the local churches in her county to build on the beautiful community that you guys already have there. From launching almost 40 counties with over 320 churches, we have learned a couple of things needed to make a network successful in any community. The church being mobilized is critical. The church brings the God-ordained relationship network needed to address some of the complicated challenges in child welfare. We need people, and those people are in the church! We look forward to the launch of Custer County!
