We are excited about the upcoming Bryan County Care Portal Launch with OKDHS. CarePortal is an initiative of 111Project brought to connect the faith community to local children and families in need. Local agency partners like OKDHS identify children and families who need assistance and allow those in the faith community to help through the local churches! 111Project is excited to see the launch of the CarePortal software in connecting churches now in Bryan County! More than 50 counties have launched, and more than 600 churches are now using CarePortal in Oklahoma to see child advocate/agency requests. Please register each person attending so we have enough food, space and materials available:

We are so excited about the upcoming Community Gathering of Mayes County. Where we will make meaningful connections with leaders in the community, utilize Careportal, & continue to provide solutions to the foster care crisis happening in our own backyard. This Months Highlights: There are over 6,200 Churches in Oklahoma. If 1,000 Churches recruited one foster family per year and met one Careportal request a month, there would be more than enough support for children involved in the child welfare system. Careportal Item of the Month: Twin Bedding Sets
REGISTER FOR CUSTER COUNTY Community Meeting Dear Church Leaders, OKDHS and County Agency Staff, We are delighted to announce that our community coordinator, Kalie Kerth, has scheduled a Community Gathering for Custer County. Weatherford Federated Church will be our host this month. The address is 302 Custer St, Weatherford, OK, and they have graciously volunteered to host lunch! These Community Gatherings are essential in fostering collaboration and support among the faith community and local agencies. Our last gathering was so much fun, and Kalie Kerth, our Custer County Community Coordinator, shared a Custer County Resource Guide. Such a fantastic tool for navigating a plan to help our children and families in crisis! If you would like to receive one of these guides, please get in touch with Kalie or me; we will ensure you get one. Thank you, Kalie, for all your work on this guide!

This year, WOODWARD COUNTY CHURCHES met 139 children served!
