With customization options that can fit any mobilization vision, anyone in your church can respond to real-time, vetted needs for local families surrounding your church and CarePortal encourages direct connection with the family being served. Needs come from agencies on behalf of families and may include common things like beds, groceries, car seats and other items that can make a critical difference in stabilizing families in crisis.  Agencies can also include other child-serving organizations you already partner with like local schools and pregnancy centers. The platform is free for churches to join and mobilizes people in the local church outside of four walls into discipleship, prayer and mission.

Durant Possom Trot Pre-Screening

We will be gathering with church leaders and local advocates to watch a prescreen of the movie Possum Trot. This movie is based on a true story about a church in Texas that had 22 families adopt 77 children from foster care. This prescreen will be a great opportunity to get people excited and raise awareness about adoption and the needs of children in Foster Care in our nation.
