Life.Church

What happens when the church unites to transform child welfare? It raises up families to care for children through foster care and adoption.  It mobilizes thousands of LifeGroups to support each child in their greatest time of need.  It’s the “capital C” Church working together to make a tremendous difference. 111Project is excited to partner with Life.Church to help change how we care for the children in child welfare.

CarePortal

Overview:

CarePortal is a local care sharing platform managed by the 111Project to connect the needs of local children and families to the local church. This email system notifies approved Life.Church responders registered in a geographical area of a need and gives them a chance to respond when and if they can help! LifeGroups leaders and church members can feel confident in meeting these needs because they are: vetted by child welfare workers, significant to the child’s case, and sometimes very simple to meet. Life.Church team members can connect and support a local child welfare Case Worker, and may also have the opportunity to connect with a family in in need – all through an email.

LifeGroup Registration:

**Because of Life Churches tremendous generosity in bringing this ministry to the state, we would encourage you to continue to give to your local campus for ministry support!**

Click on the link below to register your LifeGroup in the CarePortal through your specific campus link.  Once you click the link a form should appear for you to enroll your group under your campus.  After registration, your campus LifeGroup Coordinator for the CarePortal will be notified and will have the ability to approve your group as being an official group as a part of the ministry of your church.  After approval, you will receive an email that will start a three-step activation process that includes the following.

1. Confirming your email address and verifying you are the point person for your LifeGroup.  Add other contacts from your LifeGroup that wish to receive CarePortal requests.

2. Attend a training. You can attend a prerecorded training by visiting the links below.  The training is less than 15 minutes long.  You can also find additional CarePortal resources at the 111Project CarePortal Page

3. Confirm you have a plan for how to engage your LifeGroup in this ministry.

If you do not receive an automated email after registration that takes you through these activation steps please contact us through our contact page.  We especially have issues with gmail account holders whose server sometimes blocks system emails.  If you continue to have issues receiving emails check out these tips from Mailchimp who is one of the providers who assist us in sending out emails.  If your campus specific link does not work know you can also go directly to the www.CarePortal.org site and “enroll your small group” by finding your campus and enrolling.
