Would you pledge your church?
To help churches move from awareness to engagement, we developed the 111Project Pledge. Each component of the pledge helps your church become part of the solution to seeing that there is more than enough care for children in Oklahoma.
The 111Project Pledge is broken down into 5 parts. We ask each of our churches to commit to any or all of them: Prayer, Point Person, Portal, Pulpit, Purpose.
Through Prayer, a Point Person, and the Portal (CarePortal), churches take a significant first step in engaging the child welfare crisis in their local community. Through a commitment to an annual meaningful Pulpit message for the 111Project Purpose, we believe we can see a day when every child will have a family.
111Project is looking for 1000 Oklahoma churches to take the 111Project Church Pledge. If every church served one family a month on CarePortal and recruited and supported one family a year in foster care, there would be families waiting on children instead of children waiting on families, ending the Oklahoma child welfare crisis.
